Club Boats

Any member can use any club boat at any time. The only exception is that club boats should not be taken out in more than 20 knots of wind. You should also read our guidance on Sailing Safely at TSC before heading out.

Please remember that the boats are a resource for the whole club and they should be treated with respect and looked after.

And if you are using a club boat for independent sailing, make sure that you are sailing safely [link to article above]. In short, it is your decision alone whether it is safe to go out; if you're not sure, then it's not safe!

Very importantly, if anything breaks, make sure that you report it on the "Club Boat Faults" Forum, so that we can fix it and make sure it is safe for the next person to use.

Costs

The cost for using a club boat is:

• -Double Hander = £10
• -Single Hander = £5
• -Topper = £3

Booking

If you are planning to use a club boat, you should book it and pay for it online. We recommend doing this in advance, especially for any organised events when they are frequently at a premium.
