Mid-week Pursuit 2024

The Mid-week Pursuit series is scheduled to include 7 races and runs into August. Run using Personal Handicaps, it is a great chance for the some of those who usually find themselves towards the back of the fleet to mix it with the clubs best sailors.

Personal Handicaps

The Personal Handicaps for this series will initially be set based on the final handicaps for the 2023 pursuit series, updated after each race to reflect the most recent form. We will try to keep the Personal Handicaps document at the bottom of this page up to date throughout the series, but please check these against the copy in the OODs box to be sure.

Start Boat

We are trying to make things as simple as possible, so have decided to use a notional Start Boat with a PY of 1400 for this series. This should mean that everyone (including someone in a Topper with a high personal handicap) starts after the official start time. The boat handicaps for the default 90 minute race for the series are at the bottom of the page.
