Session 7 - Day Sailing & Seamanship Skills
NOTE: the times in the calendar are for the start of the on-water activity. Please ensure that you arrive at least 90 minutes beforehand, so that you and your boat are ready to sail. Likely timings for the session are:
- Arrival time - please be on site by 1420 at the latest
- Get your boat out and pre-rigged (45 mins)
- On-shore session (45 mins)
- Get changed and on the water (30 mins)
- On water activity (120 mins)
- Get off the water (45 mins)
- De-brief in the club house (15 mins)
- Social (as long as you like!)
The Better Sailing sessions give members a great opportunity to sail together outside the established racing calendar and aim to improve our sailing, with the emphasis on participation, building friendships and having a good time. Read more about Better Sailing.
