Best Dressed Jubilee Competition
Over the Jubilee bank holiday we'll be running a 'Best Dressed' competition. There will be prizes awarded for: Best Dressed Cruiser Best Dressed Dinghy Best Dressed Camp Boats can be either on the water or on land. A 'camp' could be a tent, campervan or picnic area. Jubilee Beacon Evening
JUBILEE BEACON EVENING - Thursday 2 June This event is open - to all TSC members and members of the local Community together with their families and friends. Proposed timing is as follows; 6.30pm Hog Roast. 7.30 to 9.00pm (including breaks) The Cotswold Male Voice Choir 9.30pm lighting of the 'Beacon' in line with the rest of the UK and Commonwealth.

The NEW Challenge Series
The Sailing Committee is very excited to launch the Challenge Series this year. The series is a new concept, which we hope will offer all members a great opportunity to sail together outside the established racing calendar. While the focus will be on improving our sailing, in terms of sailing skills, boat set-up and local conditions, the key to success will be social, with an emphasis on building friendships and having a good time.

Cruiser News
Cruiser racing has restarted at TSC with the 2022 Frostbite series. The 2020 series was severely curtailed when Covid closed the country down in early March, and we only managed one race in 2021, although it gave us a chance to try using a pursuit race format. Temujin and Swn y Mor were the only starters, and it went well enough to continue the experiment this year. So, it was very pleasing to see

Frostbite 2022 of to a great start
The Frostbite Cruiser series has got off to a cracking start this monthj, under the new Pursuit format and using personalised handicaps. The first race saw 7 boats take to the water, with 2 taken out of the fleet at the last minute by Covid. With a decent breeze, it was a competitive race, even though the personalised handicaps were set to zero as the starting point. Mercenary took the honours on the water,

After much consideration, we have changed the date for this year's Freezer from the 24th to the 28th December, as we believe that too many people would not be able to make Christmas Eve.
